Kit Drives

7th Annual Refugee Kit Drive Success!

Gallatin Refugee Connections wants to thank all of the volunteers who gathered at Pilgrim Congregational Church this year. In cooperation with Lutheran Family Services and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), over 200 kits were assembled and delivered to help refugee families start their new lives around the state.

If your church or organization would like to play a role in this effort next year, contact us at, or call 406-209-0971. Finally, if you couldn’t join us for this year’s drive then donate to GRC directly.

What is a Kit Drive?

Annually we coordinate a collection of household items organized by room to help families get started in their new lives and accelerate their integration into the community.

  1. Learn what refugees really need. Check out these room kit lists.
  2. Share this opportunity. Get the word out to your neighbors, workplace or church using this printable flyer.
  3. Join our volunteer crew for 2025! Register to volunteer packing kits by filling out this online form. If you’re interested in organizing ahead of the event by recruiting in kind donations (e.g. volunteer t-shirts, food, appreciation), or promoting this event in our community, contact Marty Albini at
